We have a modern purpose built theatre, with equipment needed to take care of your pet.
We can carry out general, emergency and specialist surgery here at Woodham Lane, meaning your pet is in safe hands.
From caesarian sections and wound repairs, to intestinal surgery and lump removals; our experienced vets and nurses can take care of your pet.
We also offer keyhole surgery at our Chertsey site, with free transfer in our veterinary ambulance.
Keyhole (minimally invasive) surgery is the preferred option, due to decreased discomfort and decreased risk of complications when compared to traditional open surgery.
Keyhole surgery can be carried out for many procedures, including spays, bladder investigations, exploratory surgery, biopsies and many more.
Have a chat with any of our team if you would like your dog to have a keyhole spay.
COVID has changed the way we have to work. We do not feel that having lots of clients in the building, and having long conversations face to face with the vets and nurses is a safe way to practice.
...and we can't really continue with phone and 'car-park consults' forever!
So we have built our 'consultation pod', where you enter through an outside door, into a completely screened room, where you can see the vet, have a face-to-face consult (via the perspex screen) and can see your pet being examined.
Our low lifting tables also mean your pet can simply walk on for their examination.
Woodham Lane Vets understand that a trip to the vet can sometimes be worrying, so we are here to make your visit as easy and stress free as possible in these uncertain times.
Our purpose built kennels are here to house your precious pets when they need to stay in with us during the day, or for a longer stay overnight.
If your pet needs further investigations such as x-ray or ultrasound; Woodham Lane Vets have all the brand new equipment necessary for our vets to diagnose any problems.
We are also able to provide an in-house cardiac service, so heart murmurs, coughs and breathing difficulties can be investigated, and ongoing heart conditions can be monitored, without your pet having to travel.
Time is of the essence if your pet is poorly; that's why with our laboratory on-site, we can have the results for the majority of blood and urine tests within a matter of minutes.
It can be scary being a cat and visiting the vet.
Coming to the practice, to be surrounded by sights and smells of dogs, especially if they are not used to dogs, can be upsetting for our feline friends.
With our new COVID secure consult room, your cat can wait with you in your car until your appointment, or can wait with you in our socially-distanced reception area.
Your cat is in safe hands at Woodham Lane.

We politely ask you not to park in the spaces belonging to the building next door.
Please let us know if you need any assistance getting your pet from the car into the practice; we are happy to help.
