Veterinary Receptionist

Part-Time
Mon-Weds
Hours: 8.30-5.30/9.30-6.30

We are looking for a customer facing receptionist, who loves animals; to join our independent, busy and growing veterinary practice.

 

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service.

 

You will look after front of house, booking appointments and dealing with customer enquiries by phone, email and in person.

 

You will have a great attention to detail, enjoy dealing with customers and their pets, have a friendly and confident persona and take pride in delivering a first class customer experience. 

 

You will have clearly defined administration duties as part of your role, such as data entry, filing, and scanning documents

 

You will be responsible for maintaining the appearance of the reception area. 

 

You will also have some clinical duties, involving re-stocking of the consumables in the consultation rooms. 

 

You will be required to use our windows-type database, full training will be given.

 

We will help you to become familiar with veterinary terminology if you are not already.

 

You should be confident and comfortable being around animals including dogs, cats and small pets such as rabbits. At times, you may be required to help hold an animal. Full training will be given.
